Join us for a cozy and relaxed Sunday afternoon where you will learn how to handknit your own chunky knit blanket.  No needles or experience required!  Each ticket includes a glass of wine of your choice.

This is a beginner friendly workshop.  We will provide step-by-step guidance and helpful instructions suitable for all skill levels.

Guests will choose their color yarn at registration.  The color choices for this workshop are: cream, pink, blue, orchid or sage.  You can also choose to make a striped blanket.  The completed blanket will be approximately 40 x 50 depending on how tightly you knit it.  You will leave with a finished blanket that is perfect to snuggle up with or for gift giving.

–There are two options for arrival time to assure everyone can get immediate attention as they arrive and begin the knit process. Please select your preferred arrival time.

-Select your desired knit blanket color from the color options in the image. You can select to include a cream strip if desired as an option as well.

About your workshop host:

Hi, my name is Lori Ritchie and I am the mom of 2 teenage boys.  I have been handknitting chunky blankets and other chunky items (bunny peeps, snowmen, hearts, etc) for about 1 1/2 years.

I have been making these items to sell but have also recently begun doing private in-home workshops teaching others how to handknit mostly by word of mouth by people who have taken my workshop or by others who have seen their finished blanket or plushie and want to make one of their own.
