Our Mission:
We started Evansburg Vineyards because we enjoy making wine and sharing it with our friends and family. In 2018 we purchased a four-acre horse farm in the heart of Evansburg Village. The following spring we planted our vineyard and shortly afterwards began building our winery and tasting room. We fermented our first batch of wine in 2020. We opened our gates to the public in the spring of 2021. Since then, we introduced many improvements to make visiting our vineyards a great experience rain or shine. Our Bistro, opened this summer, serves a unique blend of Mediterranean and American cuisines and completes the Evansburg Vineyards experience.
At Evansburg Vineyards, we believe that a winemaker should take what nature offers and make a wine that fits the terroir in which the grapes were grown. Pennsylvania wines have come a long way in the past decade. In addition to our estate white wines we source grape varieties that are developed to suit our climate from Pennsylvania and New York. These grapes are supplemented by local fruit as well as grapes from other parts of the United States for wine styles that don’t fit our terroir.
Kick back and relax with a glass of wine and your bistro favorites. Peak at our winemaking space through our tasting room glass wall, or enjoy our live music with a stunning vineyard backdrop from our lawn, Pavilions, or outdoor patio.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our winery!

Milestones
2000
Putting Down Roots in Pennsylvania
The family moved to Pennsylvania, fell in love with the green terrain, the hospitality of the people and decided to stay.
2013
Experimenting in the Basement
The first carboys of wine were created in the family home basement. While it wasn’t very good, at least it tasted like wine. Determined to do better, each year Yuval and Leli worked to perfect their craft and began sharing it with friends and family. Slowly the idea of starting a winery took hold.
2016
Mastering the Craft
To refine his winemaking skills, Yuval began studying Enology and Viticulture at Harrisburg Community College. Together, Leli and Yuval made a Cabernet Franc that received noteworthy marks in a blind wine tasting class.
2018
Here We Go
Yuval and Leli purchased a horse farm in the heart of Evansburg Village. They prepared to plant their very own vineyard.
2020
Our First Batch of Wine
With the vines growing and the winery taking shape, Leli and Yuval finally began to craft their first vintage.
2021

Serving a blend of Mediterranean and American cuisine that pairs perfectly with our wines.
sustainability
E n v i r o n m e n t a l M i n d f u l n e s s
Our 1-acre vineyard hosts 890 Chardonel vines. Chardonel is French-American hybrid varietal that combines the delicate flavors or the old world Chardonnay along with natural resistance to cold climate and indigenous pests conferred by its North American parentage. This allows us to minimize our pesticide use and protect the environment without compromising quality.
As we invite the community into our tasting room, we aim to minimize our footprint. To do so, we use biodegradable tableware and almost all of our clothing merchandise are made with recycled cotton.
We partner with Back To Earth Compost to compost all of our food waste and compostable tableware.
We are always searching for new ways to support causes that promote a sustainable and regenerative future. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any ideas for how we can better do so.
Go Local!
We are super excited to be a part of the Collegeville Community.
