DESCRIPTION:Join us for a cozy and relaxed Sunday afternoon where you will learn how to handknit your own chunky knit blanket.  No needles or experience required!  Each ticket includes a glass of wine of your choice. \nThis is a beginner friendly workshop.  We will provide step-by-step guidance and helpful instructions suitable for all skill levels. \nGuests will choose their color yarn at registration.  The color choices for this workshop are: cream\, pink\, blue\, orchid or sage.  You can also choose to make a striped blanket.  The completed blanket will be approximately 40 x 50 depending on how tightly you knit it.  You will leave with a finished blanket that is perfect to snuggle up with or for gift giving. \nOptions listed: \n–There are two options for arrival time to assure everyone can get immediate attention as they arrive and begin the knit process. Each participant will go home with their own creation and will receive a glass of wine with the ticket purchase. \nIn the workshop you will be provided all the tools you need to create your own masterpiece; leaner board (1″ thick x 10″ wide x 4′ high)\, brushes\, paint\, step by step instructions\, gloves\, one on one assistance\, a glass of wine and fun.  This workshop is about allowing yourself to be creative and of course\, have fun! \nWe recommend that you dress prepared for the workshop with either old clothes\, a smock or an apron as acrylic paint will stain clothing. \nABOUT YOUR WORKSHOP HOST: \nMy name is Vicky\, not Victoria. I say this only because\, throughout my life\, the first question I am asked upon meeting someone new is\, “is your real name Victoria?” I was born and raised in Pottstown. \nI am recently retired and have been pouring my time into the canvas. I am creative by nature and have dabbled in many forms of art. However\, over the last 7 years I have been teaching myself the ins and outs of acrylic painting.  I am a self-taught artist\, schooled by watching videos\, reading\, researching\, trial and error and lots and lots of practiced. Each ticket is for one guest. \nAn ACTIVE role person will be a part of the play\, you WILL get lines\, you may be a suspect\, you may just be a witness\, or you may be the murderer! Either way\, you will get a few lines to speak. It is not hard and very fun to be a part of the play! \nA PASSIVE role person will generally have no lines during the play and may just watch and take in clues! You will still get a special ID character for you to become during the night! This person may have the option\, when called upon\, to ask a question\, spread a rumor or tell someone a secret. \nAll will be expected to help solve the puzzle and the murder. \nKnowing the number of Active & Passive roles will influence how the play will be written and directed\, to create the uniqueness each audience brings. \nOur active major parts are picked first by earliest ticket purchasers. \nAll ticket buyers\, active or passive\, must designate your desired gender role. When purchasing for a group\, please designate a group name so you can all sit together\, whether tickets are purchased at the same time or not. This event is customized based on factors including number of active and passive members and the gender roles of the group. \nAdditional Information: \nDinner is served at 6 PM and the Mystery Adventure begins around 6:30-ish. Guests will be able to order additional beverages during the event if desired. \nGuest microphones are provided so all can hear and enjoy the story. Each individual can pick their own identity for the evening. \nAbout your Directors: Jim and Cindy Zahoriko have operated ZahoroikoEntertainment since the mid 1990s. Jim started as an actor with Black Mask Productions in 1989 and began writing in 1992 with his first production in 1994 called Murder in the Fast Lane as a weekend production in a Pocono Resort. Jim worked resorts and B&Bs up until Covid in 2020. ZahoroikoEntertainment expanded in 2010 to include restaurants\, wineries and private home shows. Please contact us through our website if you are interested in scheduling a private tour. \nPlease arrive 5 minutes before the tour begins to check in and dress appropriately for the weather as a portion of the tour takes place outside. Tours begin promptly at 11am.
