DESCRIPTION:Acrylic Pour\, Paint & Sip Workshop\nThis ticket includes a wine glass with purchase! \nCome and learn the basics of pour painting. Everyone can do this class! I feel that everyone has artistic ability within themselves\, you will be amazed at the paintings you will create. You will learn step by step instructions\, from mixing the paint to completing two canvases using two separate techniques – The Flip Cup and The Dirty Pour. You will learn the variations of paint coverage. \nEveryone will leave with two finished pieces of their artwork. \nPlease wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on\, and bring a cookie sheet covered in tin foil to transport your artwork home with you.  \nAbout your workshop host\, Julie Potter: \nI have been making “art” since I was old enough to hold a crayon. My training started when I was in 2nd grade\, I took private art lessons from an artist that lived in our town. \nI went to Drexel University and received a BA for Fabric Design and Interior Design. I had my own company\, doing very diverse art projects\, such as I designed a scarf that was used in the Mother’s Day catalog for a Phila. based company. I did illustrations for several different magazines. I designed the fabric using the Batik Method\, and made  \nclothes with it\, that was sold in a New York based boutique.
